DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid has been exclusively developed to meet the special needs of racing disc brakes. Racing hydraulic systems are subjected to severe heat exposure; this demands a brake fluid that has a very high boiling point while maintaining as much resistance to moisture as possible. 

Note

Because of the natural hygroscopicity of poly glycol brake fluids it is important to change the fluid regularly to avoid impaired characteristics. Avoid contact with paintwork, if this occurs wash of with water immediately.
